Package overview

This Munich holiday package covers five days and four nights in the Bavarian capital, one of the most walkable cities in Germany and the gateway to the Alps. Air Arabia flights from Sharjah are included, along with four nights at the 4-star Holiday Inn Munich Leuchtenbergring with daily breakfast, private airport pick-up and drop-off, and 24/7 Makani customer service throughout the trip. Available on selected September and October dates. The autumn window covers the tail of summer, the start of the autumn colors in the English Garden, and Oktoberfest (late September to early October) at the Theresienwiese grounds if the dates line up. Schengen visa is on the traveler and needs sorting before booking. This is a flight and hotel package, so the sightseeing days are open for you to plan.

Where you'll stay

All four nights are at Holiday Inn Munich Leuchtenbergring, a 4-star hotel in the Berg am Laim district on the east side of central Munich. The Leuchtenbergring S-Bahn station is a short walk away, connecting to the city centre in around 10 minutes, and Munich Airport is reachable directly on the same S-Bahn line (S8). Rooms come as Double or Twin with daily breakfast at the hotel. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 PM. Room facilities and confirmed room category are set by the hotel and shared at booking.

Day by day itinerary

Day 1: Sharjah to Munich

Air Arabia flight from Sharjah to Munich Airport. Meet your private transfer at arrivals for the drive to Holiday Inn Munich Leuchtenbergring, roughly 40 minutes depending on traffic. Check in from 3:00 PM, settle in, and take the evening at your own pace in the Berg am Laim neighborhood or head into central Munich on the S-Bahn.

Day 2: Central Munich

Breakfast at the hotel, then head into the city on the S-Bahn. Marienplatz is the heart of Munich, with the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus) and its Glockenspiel that chimes at 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, the twin towers of Frauenkirche, and the Viktualienmarkt open-air food market all a short walk apart.

Day 3: Palaces and gardens

Another breakfast, then Nymphenburg Palace on the west side of the city, the summer residence of the Bavarian kings with formal gardens open to the public. In the afternoon, the English Garden (Englischer Garten) is one of the largest urban parks in the world and starts turning colors in autumn. The surfers on the Eisbach standing wave are worth a stop.

Day 4: Bavarian day trip or Oktoberfest

Last full day. Options: Neuschwanstein Castle (about 2 hours south by car or organized tour, the fairy-tale castle that inspired the Disney logo), Salzburg across the Austrian border, Dachau memorial, or the BMW Museum and Olympiapark in Munich itself. If travel dates overlap Oktoberfest (typically mid-September to early October), the Theresienwiese grounds and beer tents run daily. Day-trip transport isn't included and is arranged separately.

Day 5: Munich to Sharjah

Breakfast, check out by 12:00 PM, and take the private transfer back to Munich Airport for the return Air Arabia flight to Sharjah.
