RAH GILI Maldives opened in February 2026 on Mahaanaelhihuraa, a private island in South Malé Atoll, right next to a protected dolphin sanctuary. It is the first resort from SIX & SIX PRIVATE ISLANDS, and the island sits about 40 minutes from Velana International Airport by speedboat. All 74 villas have their own pool, and the overwater ones come with a slide straight into the lagoon. The Bali studio SHL Asia designed the island after old Maldivian fishing villages, using palm-leaf kajan, bamboo and timber.

Most couples at RAH GILI Maldives choose the Sunset Water Pool Villa with Slide. It has 206 sqm of space, a 23 sqm infinity pool and an 18-metre slide from the deck into the water, and on a good evening spinner dolphins pass close enough to watch from the villa.
