The Aqua Villa is Kandima’s classic overwater villa, set on stilts above the resort’s large lagoon. At 73 sqm, it has a private sundeck with sun loungers and steps straight down into the water, so a morning swim is never more than a few metres away. The king bed and sofa bed suit couples and friends travelling together.

The bathroom is the part guests remember, with a freestanding bathtub that looks out across the lagoon. The villa also has a coffee machine, a minibar, a safe, a hair dryer, a 40-inch LED TV with an in-room entertainment system and free Wi-Fi. There are 30 Aqua Villas, each sleeping up to 2 adults and 2 children (a child policy disclaimer is signed at check-in for overwater villas).
