Why Makani

Why Book Your Thailand Holiday with Makani

Planning a Thailand trip on your own means juggling four cities, a dozen booking sites, and zero guarantee you’re getting the right hotel for the right price. Makani removes that guesswork with real partnerships on the ground and a team that speaks your language.

Real Partnerships, Not Just Listings

We don’t just list Thailand hotels — we negotiate directly with them. That means rates you won’t find on booking sites, and a direct line if anything needs fixing during your trip.

A Team That’s Actually Been There

22 years of arranging Thailand holidays for UAE travelers means our team knows the difference between a Patong Beach hotel and a Patong Beach hotel with a view — and every question you ask gets answered in Arabic, start to finish.

However, Thailand's government approved a change in May 2026 reducing this to 30 days, which will take effect 15 days after official publication (date not yet announced). All travelers visa-exempt or not must also complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours before arrival.
November to February is the best time to visit, with dry weather and comfortable temperatures nationwide. March to May turns hot, especially in Bangkok, while June to October is the rainy season wetter in the south, but with fewer crowds and better prices.
The official currency is the Thai Baht (THB). Exchange rates are almost always better inside Thailand than at home, and licensed exchange counters or banks offer better rates than airports or hotels. Credit cards are accepted at hotels and malls, but cash is still preferred at markets and smaller shops.
Thai is the official language, but English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas across Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, and Pattaya.
Yes, Thailand is a generally safe destination, and millions of tourists visit each year without incident. The Tourist Police hotline (1155) runs 24/7 with English-speaking staff for anything from a lost passport to a dispute with a vendor. Emergency: Police 191 | Ambulance 1669.
The Grand Palace and Wat Pho in Bangkok, Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay, Railay Beach in Krabi, and Phang Nga Bay rank among Thailand's most visited sites alongside the beaches and night markets of Phuket and Pattaya.
